Vidya Pratishthan's Institute of Information Technology (VIIT)
was established in February 2000 at Baramati with an aim to
provide quality education in the field of Information Technology
and Computer Science. In these years this institute is proved to
be one of the best IT institute conducting various Post
Graduate, related to Computers.
VIIT offers courses like MCA, MCM and MBA affiliated to
University of Pune and recognized by AICTE Delhi. VIIT is
spreading on a campus of 30 acres, this institute provides best
available infrastructure and amenities for its students. VIIT
has a network of more that 250 computers powered with Gigabit
Fiber Optic Cable. Five boys hostels and two girls hostel enjoy
the connectivity to main servers of VIIT. These hostels have a
capacity to accommodate more than 1000 students. Computerized
library, Five Computer Labs with capacity of 60 each and huge
auditorium, are the unique rudiments of VIIT.
The objective of Vidya Pratishthan trust in opening the IT
section is to spread the light of education among the students
of rural areas of Baramati. More than 10,000 students have
passed out from VIIT and its virtual centers. Around 500 alumni
from VIIT today stand on a remarkable position in IT industries
narrates the success story of this institute.
