Dr Rakesh Biswas is a physician teacher working in the field of clinical problem solving and clinical education since the last 10 years. He is presently an associate professor in a medical college in central India. Before this he was an associate professor in Manipal university, Malaysia where he became involved with a health care IT project that he initiated along with multiple stake holders in the govt and private sectors in Malaysia primarily with the help of technical collaborators in Intel, Malaysia. As per the operations of that project he looks forward to bridging the digital divide with mobile telecommunication and the educational divide with improved communication at a grassroots level utilizing an educational strategy that he has termed user driven learning (which may be applied to health care and even other human endevours). He is working on developing these ideas further and some of it has already been accepted as position/concept papers in international journals.
